Every day I am planting seeds based upon the intentions that I declare (combination of thought, feeling, action and spirit) so what that means is that everyday I am both planting new seeds, nurturing the seeds that have been planted and harvesting the seeds that have been planted long ago.
So often I tend to forget about the seeds planted many months ago when I was fearful about business or affairs of the heart. I have forgotten about all of those times waking up with a feeling of dread and engaging in behavior that validated my worst case scenarios portrayed in my mind.
So when things do not work out as well as I think they should today I need to be mindful of the notion that I am probably harvesting a crop that was planted with a negative vibe many months ago.
So, my friends consider this notion: Whatever we are experiencing today is a function of what seeds have been planted from our past. If we recognize that both the joy and pain experienced in life is a function of our intentions (either conscious or otherwise) then we can always celebrate how powerful we are as human beings to live our lives intentionally.
I encourage you to join me in being mindful of the seeds we are planting today. Anytime you merge a thought with strong feeling driving an action consider that a seed has been planted that begins growing immediately. What I plan on doing is that the moment I catch myself having a thought and feeling that does not serve my highest good I plan on using some of the tools I teach our clients to help interrupt the process so that I can consciously insert a more effective seed.
Remember to consider that fear driven reactions both hurt us in the present moment and plant a seed that will be harvested in the future.
The way we live our lives today will serve to plant seeds for our futures.
So:
- Live well
- Be mindful of thoughts, feelings, and actions
- Enjoy the harvest
I hope this entry will inspire you to plant new seeds today that will help shape a more joyous future.
